Imagine if you or a loved one needed care and your preferred hospital – Mission Hospital – was too crowded to accommodate you. Unfortunately, a booming population has made this scenario a reality for some.
Mission Hospital is currently operating at or beyond capacity. Factors such as a staggering population increase and aging baby boomers have brought on a critical need for expansion.
As south Orange County continues to grow, Mission Hospital is working to ensure you and others in our community have access to top quality healthcare in one location. This commitment is an integral part of our Spirit of Giving.
To help make certain that key services are there when you need them, the hospital has embarked on a multi-year campus expansion. The Mission Hospital Foundation “Partners For Life” campaign is a $50 million philanthropic effort to support the $150 million costs for the first phase of this extensive build-out. While the hospital is taking on more than two-thirds of the financial burden through operations and borrowing, we must turn to the generosity of our community to make up the final third.
With your help, we can continue to expand to ensure that Mission Hospital has the capacity to serve all those in need as well as maintain our status as south Orange County's leading hospital.
